From there Bud and I brought a house on Brighton Blvd., it had three lots, front room, dining room, bathroom, kitchen, two bedrooms, basement and a garage. Bud dug all the dirt out from underneath the back part of the house, by the basement and adds two more bedrooms. He put the stairway on the outside.
We made the garage into a little apartment. Bud piped water to the garage, and a gas line for the cook stove and heater. He put a bathroom in the coal shed, but it would freeze in the winter. So who ever was living out there had to use the bathroom in the house.
