buds skating rink

In the winter, Bud would flood the back yard with water, it would freeze and we had a skating rink. There was a recreational center in the neighborhood for all the kids to go too, instead of going there they would come over to our place to skate on our skating rink. This upset the operator of the recreational center, because they were not getting the kids. So they flooded an area in the ball field so they could have a skating rink. We did not flood our yard anymore after that.
