Shortly after we moved, Dorothy, and Eva went to the hospital. Dorothy went to one hospital and Eva to another. A few days later Bud had to go to hospital. Dorothy and Eva rode in the ambulance together. Dorothy had an infection in her ear, they gave her some medicine and she had a reaction from and she almost lost her legs. She was in the hospital the longest. Eva had Scarlet fever and Bud had singles. Eva also had the measles at that place. Bobby was lucky; he did not catch anything. It seems that every time the measles went around Dorothy caught them.
